Tonight’s blog is all about my new favourite picture on the wall, and a little bit of the story behind it.

Recently my daughter and I had our portaits taken for Mother’s Day.  My awesome friend Deanne is the photographer, and the photos came out AMAZING! Now, there is a a space in my home, where I had been wanting to put an artwork; something bright and colourful. It’s a big blank wall, and just needs something to fill the space. I love teals, yellows, pinks and coral.   I am in LOVE with the bright colours of watercolour trends, but I could never find just the “right” one to hang.  Perhaps I’m really indecisive, but I just couldn’t decide which of my photos from Deanne to enlarge for the wall! So many to choose from, but there is only one hook to hang something… Black and White for classic style, or one of the beautiful late afternoon colour shots.  Then I started to wonder if I would get sick of looking at my own head up on the wall every day, larger than life….

AARRGH! What one do I choose?!

Then I had the idea of incorporating my love of bright watercolours, with the photos I had! This was the solution for me!
