Photo Restoration

Restoring old photos is one of my most favourite things to do!  For me it’s quite satisfying to be able to take something old,
torn, faded and almost lost; and bring it back bit by bit.  It’s a little bit like a digital painting.  To salvage those priceless family memories is important!  Don’t leave it too late.

There are two ways of going about your image restoration; you can bring me your original image, and I can scan or photograph it.  Or you are welcome to scan it, or use a scanning service to convert your original images to digital copies.

Scanning Tips:

  • Scanned images must be saved as a .jpeg or .tif file
  • Resolution needs to be a minimum of 300 dpi.
  • If the image is badly damaged, or small in size please scan your image at 600 dpi
  • Depending on the quantity and file size of your images you can send them via email, Dropbox, or on USB.
  • If you’re not sure, just give me a call and we can talk it over.
